DescriptionFolding packfilm camera, new style, named The Reporter, made of a black plastic body with self-erecting bellows struts. It is equipped with a 114 mm, f/9.2 three-element plastic lens and film speed settings for 80 and 3000 ASA films. It also has a rigid, non-parallax corrected viewfinder, a front-cell focusing system, with distance scale on lens ring, an Everset electronic shutter, and an automatic exposure system similar to the "original style" pack cameras. This camera can use either standard rectangular format or square format pack films. It also has a built-in flashcube socket for flash, a tripod socket and cable release socket. A black synthetic fiber strap is used to hang the camera on someone's neck. It has a protective plastic cover for the lens.
Original retail price: $57.00. It is in its original packaging, including the instruction manual. This example also comes with what appears to be a black-coated cold clip on which instructions are provided. The "Polaroid Cold-Clip #193" is clipped at the back of the camera. It consists of two pieces of metal taped together that were used to develop an instant film in colder temperature (recommended when temperature was below 65°F).
