Rectangular wooden rule printed with two nonlinear scales. In both scales the interval distances decrease as the numbers get larger. The numbers are oriented vertically and increase from top to bottom.
The top edge of the face of the rule is printed with a scale carrying values from 5.8 to 19. The bottom edge of the face of the rule is printed with a scale carrying values from 11.5 to 36. The back of the rule is blank, as is the rightmost one-third of the face of the rule.
The back of the rule has several spots of what appears to be white paint.
