Description:

Culpeper-type microscope with brass optical assembly and scrolling tripod legs. Tube inscribed with graduations labeled 1 - 6 for ease of focus with various objectives. Base is mahogany box with a drawer. Substage mirror is concave.
Coarse focus is by sliding tube; fine focus is by rack and pinion on the side of the tube.
