A metal laboratory stand made by L.E. Knott Apparatus Company.
The stand consists of a round base, painted black, which supports a steel rod upright. The base of the upright rod has a horizontal connecting rod, and the top is threaded, and supports a circular bracket with a horizontal tube protruding from one side and T-shaped adjustment screw on the other. The bracket is painted black.
The exact function of the stand is unknown.
