Description:
A dark metal tube with an octagonal compartment in its middle section that has several round windows on its sides, and small openings on its top and bottom. Most of the edges on the hexagon have toothed edges.

It is mounted on two identical stands with extensible columns made of brass (bottom section) and what looks like steel (upper section). Each of the stands has also a vertical rod with one of its ends ribbed, attached by a clamp to the upper section. These are most likely gas burners.
