Description:
A collection of metal fittings, possibly used with surveying equipment, stored in a square cardboard box with fitted lid and lined with foam padding. The box is made by Keuffel & Esser Co. The box is covered in dark green linen with a paper label on one end.

The fittings consist of twelve brass rods, threaded at both ends, two bolts, one washer and three circular dark metal plates or disks. It is unknown whether these are intended to be part of a single instrument or are various pieces of a general purpose.
