White plastic envelope containing a plastic slide.
On the face of the rule, the top and bottom edges of the envelope have been folded over to form two fixed slides. Along the bottom edge of the top fixed slide is printed a scale for "PRICE", with values descending from 300 to 1. Along the top edge of the bottom fixed slide is a scale for "PERCENTAGE YIELD," carrying values from .2 to 60.
The top edge of the moveable slide is printed with a scale for "ANNUAL DIVIDEND, DOLLARS". This has values descending from 30 to 0.10. Pointing toward the bottom fixed slide is a black arrow. Instructions for using the slide rule are also printed on the face of the moveable slide. A table of decimal equivalents is printed on the back of the slide.
The back of the slide rule is printed with the distributing company's year of establishment, address, and specialty.
