Description:
Large stand in brass with nickel plating on the draw tube. Coarse focus by rack and pinion. Fine focus by screw and lever. Fine mechanical stage. Similar to a Tolles student microscope but of higher quality materials.
The case holds a presription blank of "A. P. Clarke, M.D., 693 Main, Cor. Bigelow, Cambridgeport," dated February 2, 1880 and listing "Powers of 2d Quality Objectives."
