FunctionIntelligence test for children between the ages of 6 and 16. It is completed without reading or writing and produces an IQ score at the end.
David Wechsler designed three types of intelligence tests for three age ranges:
*Wechsler Pre-school and Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI): 3-7 years
*Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC): 7-16 years
*Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS): 16 years and over
The first one he designed was the Wechsler-Bellevue Intelligence Scale, described in his 1939 book. This test was replaced in 1955 by the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS).
