Signedon glass: Swett & Lewis
FunctionAn early, simple, x-ray tube. The cathode is designed to help focus the electrons on a small area of the platinum anticathode, which is the only anode present. The side tube contains an asbestos regenerator to replenish the optimal gas level inside the tube.
