Description:
Metal stand with round, moulded base. On the base are two binding posts made of brass on opposite sides of the central column. The column ends with an adjustable screw, which secures a brass extension. This extension has a joint that rotates a thinner brass rod.

FunctionThe binding posts at the bottom indicate that this stand is used for experiments with electricity.
