Description:
Telegraph apparatus mounted on a rectangular, mahogany base, which is in turn sitting on a black metal base. A row of six binding posts runs along the front edge of the base. Behind the row of binding posts is a brass box with a taupe colored top, the box sitting on a brass plate. Several screws emerge out of the sides of the box, extending to metal posts with adjustment knobs on either end. There are brass posts on top of the box with various adjustment screws, and a bar which extends out of the left side with a dial on the end. There is a hole in the box in the front, through which some metal parts can be seen.
A light blue triangle has been painted on the base, which says that it was used at Harvard, in the department of physics, as a didactic instrument.
