Description:
A galvanometer in a rectangular bakelite case. Instrument has two binding posts, with knurled edges, a circular knob centered on the instrument face labeled, "Leeds & Northup Co. Philadelphia," and a round, silver knob with an arrow labeled, "CLAMP." Instrument has a slightly curved, generally rectangular instrument display window, through which a scale can be seen, labeled, -10-0-+10, and "MADE IN U.S.A."

An inscription stamped on the side of the instrument cannot be read in this view.

raised letters on side: THE LEEDS AND NORTHRUP CO / PHILADELPHIA / MADE IN U.S.A.
