Description:
This is an automatic rocking microtome. The instrument is constructed of cast iron and painted light green; screws, wheels, and various other parts are nickel-plated brass. The main frame sits on four legs, with the specimen holder on one end and the knife block on the other. The feed mechanism is at center.
