Description:
A demonstration set for radio transmission and reception. Consists of three electronic panels in a brown insulating material (bakelite?), three metal stands (one for each panel), and four removable metal bars (antennas). One of the panels has a loop antenna attached.

FunctionA demonstrational set for radio transmitting and receiving. The diagram on the box gives a good rendering of how the instruments would have looked while in use.
Curatorial Remarks"Ministeritvo Prosveshcheniye" refers to the Education Ministry of the Russian Republic of the USSR.

Dated 1959, but has a style that would have been found in the West in the 1920s-1930s.
