Description:
This circular pill box has black sides, cardboard-brown top and bottom, and red lining.

The top is penciled, "Shades / 18 [word illegible]." The number 29 is marked in crayon and crossed out.

The box holds a glass neutral-density filter in a black collar with exterior threads. The diameter is about 3.5 cm. The aperture is about 2.8 cm. Another glass disk of similar quality but unmounted is in the box. It is the same size.

Also in the box are 5 mica cover slips of different sizes and shapes. Two are circular. Three are octagonal.
