Description:
1045p is a set of 5 Tolles solid eyepieces, 2 belonging to Louis Agassiz (all stored in Tolles box 1045b). This is eyepiece 1045p-4:

One solid eyepiece with a top and bottom lens. The protective sleeve for the lower solid element can be unscrewed to reveal the solid element held in a cylindrical brass mount. The side of this hidden mount is stamped "TOLLES." It is dated with a very small scratch mark, "76 - P. 164." The protective sleeve for the top lens has nickel plating. This eyepiece has a sticker saying that it came from the Geology Department.
