Description:
1045p is a set of 5 Tolles solid eyepieces, 2 belonging to Louis Agassiz (all stored in Tolles box 1045b). This is eyepiece 1045p-5:

One solid eyepiece with two lenses. The large solid element is held in a brass cylindrical mounting that screws into the base of the eyepiece. The barrel of the eyepiece has a stable reddish oxide on its surface.
