Class B chemical. Cylindrical bottle with ground neck and ground glass sopper, covered in paper. Bottle contains Alizarine Yellow GGT, a synthetic, "artifical mordant" color. Alizarin was the first natural dyestuff (originally from the madder root) prepared artifically from the coal-tar product anthracene (1868). Alizarin GG was the first azo mordant dye (first synthesized in 1887).
