The Kodak Disc 6000 was a part of the disck series of Kodak cameras, introduced in 1982. This model takes HR disc film, and was originally priced at $90.00. It is fully made of plastic, and has a 12.5 mm f/2.8 aspheric lens. The focusing mechanism is a fix focus, with a second lens that shifts in front of the first for portraits and landscapes. A second lens also slides in front of the viewfinder for parallax correction. The exposure is automatic, and there is a small built-in flash which fires automatically. The film advance is auto-winding. A hinged door protects the lens and operating buttons when not in use.
