Description:
Conical flue pipe made of tin, used for acoustics demonstration or experimentation. Similar to 2007-1-0131a-g, except this one has a small hole bored in the side rather than an end-plug.
As with many other acoustical instruments in the collection, this one has an old location number inscribed on an oval paper glued on the pipe: 20-4-15. There is another old location number stamped on this instrument: 20-8, and a pitch marking engraved by hand (see Inscription).
