DescriptionApple computer encased in a beige plastic rectangular box. The main systems unit and computer monitor are combined in a single unit. A square charcoal-colored monitor is centered near the top of the box. Monitors of this kind are cathode ray tubes like televisions used to be. The tube is made of glass, with a glass panel covering the front. The back of the front panel is coated in phosphorous. There is a vacuum in the tube. At the back of the tube is an electron gun which fires out electrons. Electromagnets are used to bend the trajectories of the electrons so that they hit particular parts of the front panel, causing the phosphorous to light up and display information on the screen.
Beneath the monitor screen is a panel with horizontal ventilation grates carved into it. Below them, on the right-hand side is a 9cm floppy disc drive. Along the top most grating line is a red power light. The very bottom strip of the front panel recedes, creating an indented panel. Vertical slits are etched into the full length of the indented panel. A brightness adjustment mechanism is placed at the leftmost end of the indented panel.
The etched vertical line band extends around both sides of the computer case. On the right-hand panel, at the very back of the vertical line band is a plastic box with two connection jacks, each covered by a plastic flap.
Along the bottom of the back panel of the computer case are six SCSI cable connection ports and one headphone jack. A power cord socket and a power switch are placed along the right edge of the back panel. A power cord with three pronged connector in grey insulation accompanies the computer. A panel of ventilation slits is located in the top right-hand corner of the back panel of the computer case.
The Apple Extended keyboard is encased in an off-white plastic rectangular box.
Black symbols on the buttons. Blue and orange stickers provide additional labeling above and bellow the keys of the number pad on the right-hand side. Keyboard is accompanied by a cable in beige insulation for connection to a computer.
The computer mouse is not the original Apple mouse; it is a three-button Logitech mouse. The mouse is encased in an oval-shaped, beige plastic two-part container. The top panel slopes downward to the left-hand side for comfortable use. There are three, square, equally sized and shaped buttons along the front edge of the mouse. A built in computer connection cable in beige insulation emerges from the front edge of the mouse.
Inside the computer there is a special plate with names engraved on it, including Steve Jobs'.

Computer monitors provide a visual output interface by which users can monitor various computer processes, results, and retrieve information.
The mouse and keyboard are the manual input devices through which users communicate with a computer. Keyboards are for inputting symbolic information (commonly for word processing and programming purposes). They are equipped with several buttons (modeled after typewriter keys) that communicate electronically with the central processing unit of the computer. Mice are central to the WIMP interface infrastructure of most personal computers (windows, icons, (dropdown) menu, pointing device). They translate the two-dimensional motion of a user's hand onto the computer monitor. By clicking on icons and menus users are able to control many of the computer operations.
