Description:
The caliper-shaped base is on wheels and supports a tall central pillar. Fixed on one side of the pillar is the control unit with meters and dials to adjust the x-ray tube. There is a milliammeter, voltmeter, a line compensator, a k.v. selector, a filament regulator and a voltmeter switch. The x-ray tube is on the other side. It can be raised and lowered with the crank found on the central part of the machine. On both sides of the x-ray tube are graduated circles, divided in four 90 degrees quadrants, the smallest division being one degree. It is suspended on a square rod, which moves horizontally to adjust the distant to the patient. A hand remote control timer is used to fix the time of exposure. The dial is numbered from 0 to 12 seconds, divided in quarter of seconds.

Curatorial RemarksThe file stored in the CHSI library includes an instruction manual and two wiring diagrams. The date was attributed from the one found in the instruction manual.
