A box rollfilm camera (Kodak No. 2 Brownie Model C), with a leatherette-covered cardboard body. This camera was produced as a part of the successful and cheap series of Brownie Cameras by Kodak during the early-mid 20th century. It was manufactured in the US and Canada, as well as in the UK a few decades later. It was discontinued in the US and Canada in 1933.
The camera takes 120 film, and is equipped with a rotary shutter, two reflecting finders, a fixed pull-out winding key, and a meniscus lens. The film depicted here is a later version, not produced until the 1950s. It originally sold for $2.00, or $2.75 for the color model.
