Description:
Small acrylic abstract painting on wood panel. The primary color is blue with splotches of irridescent gold and white paint. The image has a fish scale pattern throughout with a large amoeba-like subject in the top center. The subject gives off a shadowy reflection below.

Curatorial RemarksThe wood panel used is birch prepared with white gesso. Tha paint is Golden Matte Acrylic with occasional spots of Daniel Smith iridescent or interference acrylic. (Daniel Smith no longer makes acrylic Paint). The artist has a stash which she uses judiciously. The paint is thinned down with water to flow more easily. No varnishes, polymer glazes, or top coats are applied.
