Description:
Brass button, two piece construction with support bar and loop shank. Elborate (partial) rose boarder. Image of comet with stars formed with a single star-shaped cut steel with15 small facetted cut steel. Button background is textured and engraved to form the comet‘s tail. Cut steel is typically handmade, but construction suggests machine assembly.
Excellent condition.
