FunctionThis tube in aluminum was used to carry the high-energy proton beam created by the cyclotron. The magnets ensured the beam would stay focused at the center of this container.
Historical AttributesThis beam section was assembled at the Harvard Cyclotron Laboratory and removed from there in 2002.
