Description:
This is the folding brass tripod for the Berge refracting telescope [1989-4-0007a]. It attaches to the telescope with a split cylindrical collar lined with red velvet. A screw holds the two halves together.

The mounting is altazimuth. The tripod legs are straight and simple.
