Description:
A Bell telephone deskset ringer box for notification to subscriber of incoming calls; designed to be mounted on a wall. Device has a wooden, rectangular ringer box. The ringer box has dovetail joins and beveled top and bottom edges. A metal bell and ball clapper is mounted on the lid of the ringer box, along with two terminals.

A pair of electrical wire coils held in place by several mounting brackets may be seen on the underside of the lid of the box. A short length of cloth-covered electrical wire connects the coil assembly to the bell.
