Description:
The measuring square is made of two flat bands of stained wood intersecting to form a right angle. The extremity of each arm is capped with a brass plate for protection. The right angle intersection is also protected with a brass plate. The inside of the brass angle is slightly curved. One side of the measuring square has several plane measurements engraved on it and the other side has one set of plane measurements engraved on it. Each set of measurements begins at the right angle intersection and increases towards the extremities.
