Description:
This is a motorized, geared tellurian on a heavy black metal base. Represented are the Sun, Mercury, Venus, the Earth, and Moon. A red light bulb is the Sun. Mercury and Venus are white-painted wood spheres on bent metal arms. The Earth is a terrestrial globe made of wood with paper gores, and the Moon is a white-painted wood sphere on a bent metal arm.

The boom that carries the earth and moon extends from a cylindrical metal housing that is eccentric to the sun's axis. The opposite side of the housing has a long metal arm to rotate the system without the electrical motor engaged.

The base is cylindrical and houses the electric motor. An electrical cord with switch and plug is attached.

A divided circle with a calendar scale and pointer is fixed below the Sun.
