Description:
An adjustable fine-scale balance inside a wood case with glass windows, two drawers and leveling screws at its base.
The balace is made of brass and consists of a vertical column coming from the bottom that intersects the path between two horizontal tubes coming from the sides of the box. The balance beam is pivoted on the vertical columns below the horizontal tubes and has a parallel flat bar with a scale right above it, with two sliding weights. In addition, there are two curved arms fixed to the vertical column that almost grab the triagular wire supports that keep the trays hanging from the beam. The trays themselves are metallic and black, and each has a small pedestal below on the case floor.
An instruction label is found under the drawer.
