Description:
The camera is without its optics (no lens, no objective, no shutter, etc.). The photographic plates produced 8X10 inch images. The leatherette bellows extents and retracts (front focus) on two gear tracks sliding on top of base rails. The bellows' front can slide up and down. The plate holder at the back has a leather handle to move the camera around. When the bellows are retracted and the base rails folded up, the camera can be stored in a carrying case.
The "D" in 2-D stood for "dark finish".
