Description:
Wooden ruler with beveled plastic edges. One edge carries an English scale ranging from 0'' to 12'', the other a half-inch scale ranging from 0 to 24. These scales are labeled "FULL SIZE" and "HALF SIZE," respectively. Aluminum cleats are screwed to the face of the ruler at both ends.

The user inserts one of the cleats into one arm of the drafting machine. The cleat he chooses depends on the direction in which he needs his chosen scale (full or half size) to face. He uses a lever on the machine to adjust the angle of the scale.
