Description:
This microphone is made of two parts: the microphone itself, a dynamic mic that was omni directional to 15 kHz (model type 630A); the stand attachment under it, in this case model 442A (several types of attachment existed for this microphone). Its nickname, Eight-Ball, comes from its resemblance to the eight-ball of a pool table.
