Description:
This is a plan of the Pingree Farm in Topsfield, M.A, a large space with many barns, fields, gardens, pastures, and the Essex Agricultural Society. According to an accompanying tag, this plan was initially created by Andrew Nichols in 1878, but the version in CHSI is a tracing of the original by a man named O. Lee Abbott of Bangor in 1963. The ragged edges of the plan appear to have been hastily cut with scissors, although the tracing itself is smooth and deliberate. This map is visibly folded in half when in storage. When it is taken out of storage and unfolded it nearly doubles in size.
