Tobias Conrad Lotter

1717-1777

The German cartographer, engraver, and publisher. He was married the daughter of Geographer to the Imperial Court Georg Matthias Seutter, for whom he engraved a number of maps for atlases. In 1755 Lotter and Seutter collaborated on Atlas Geographicus Portatilis. Upon Seutter's death two years later, Lotter took over the business, based in Augsburg.

Lotter died in 1777.
