Schott Jenaer Glaswerk

Otto Schott (1851 - 1935) was a German chemist who, among other things, invented borosilicate glass. He founded a glassworking laboratory in 1884. This laboratory, called Glastechnisches Laboratorium Schott & Genossen, was the origin of Schott Jenaer Glaswerk (the date of the renaming is unknown).
