Leeds & Northrup Company
Leeds & Northrup, manufacturers of electric instruments and pyrometers, was formed in 1903 when Morris Leeds of Morris E. Leed's & Co., manufacturers of electrical instruments, joined Edwin F. Northrup and became Leeds & Northrup Co. The firm was based in Philadelphia.
Leeds & Northrup later expanded their product line to include instruments such as galvanometers, standard resistances, and Wheatstone bridges, condensers, and potentiometers; temperature recording and other electrochemical apparatus.
