American Paulin System

This company, that today characterizes itself as "the world's leading manufacturer of surveying altimetes and surveying barographs", dates back to at least the 1920s when it was based in Los Angeles, CA. In 1929 American Paulin System Inc. became a subsidiary of the Commercial Instrument Corporation and soon its parent company intended to transfer operations to Meriden CT. However, as late as the 1950s the company is appears to continue at least some operations in Los Angeles.

At a later date, the company moved to Cottonwood, AZ where it still operates.

Documented with the aid of Google Timeline.
