Remarks: A sales office for products and services of Carl Zeiss, Jena and related Zeiss firms.
In 1925, Carl Zeiss, Jena incorporated its distribution office in New York City as Carl Zeiss, Inc. It was located at 485 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY. It continued in operation right through World War II. After the war, it distributed products from both the Carl Zeiss firms in the Eastern block and those in the Western bloc.
