Louis Agricola Bauer

1865 - 1932

Louis Agricola Bauer, (January 26, 1865 – April 12, 1932) was an American geophysicist, astronomer and magnetician, born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the first director of the Carnegie Institution’s Department of Terrestrial Magnetism, from 1904-1929.
