Kroeschell Brothers Ice Machine Company

founded 1913

the Kroeschell Brothers Ice Machine Company was founded by four brothers in Chicago, in 1879. The company started as boiler manufactures but expanded to producing cooling systems once the technology was developed and installed one of the first commercial air conditioning systems in the Congress Hotel.
