William E. Forsythe

1881 - 1969

William Elmer Forsythe was born on 22 August 1881 in Muskington County, Ohio. He was a physicist who worked in several fields, including optics and radiant energy. He was employed at the Nela Research Laboratory at Nela Park in Cleveland, Ohio. He worked as a physicist until Jul 11, 1924, when he became Director of the Research Laboratory.
