Warren Anatomical Museum
founded 1847
The Museum began with the donation of John Collins Warren's private anatomical instruction and specimen collection to Harvard University. It has been a resource for students since its founding, and has been open to the public since 1861. The collection includes over 15,000 objects including the skull and tamping iron of Phineas Gage.
