Pierre Lecomte Du Noüy

Mathematician and biophysicist, among other things, and descendant of Pierre Corneille, he worked at the Rockefeller Institute between 1919 and 1927 and after at the Institut Pasteur (1927-1936). In 1937, he is named directeur d'étude at the Sorbone École pratique des hautes études.
