Criterion Manufacturing Company
1972 - 1983
The Criterion Manufacturing Company had been manufacturing a line of relatively good quality, inexpensive reflectors for years, manufacturing its own line of Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. The company was purchased by Bausch & Lomb in 1983 and the telescopes naturally then bore the new name.
