Museo Storico Topografico di Firenze com'era or the Museum of "Florence as it was" was established in 1909 to preserve a record of the parts of Florence that had been demolished or changed. It moved to an ex-convent in 1955, and its collections include maps, prints, sculptures, etchings, and paintings that depict and document areas of Florence.
