Andreas Cellarius
Andreas Cellarius was a Dutch-German mathematician and cosmographer born around 1595 in Neuhausen, near Worms, Germany. He is best known for his Harmonia Macrocosmica (1660), a cosmographical atlas.
Sometime before 1625 Cellarius settled in Amsterdam; in 1630 he moved to The Hague where he served as a schoolmaster. Later he moved to Hoorn, to become the rector of a school there. Cellarius died in 1665.
