Bates Manufacturing Company

1890 - 1922

The Bates Manufacturing Company was founded in 1890 and manufactured automatic hand-held numbering machines as well as various office products. The company was absorbed by the Edison Phonograph Works between 1892 and 1897. The Bates Manufacturing Company was dissolved in 1922.
